Outgoing, ambitious, charismatic and meticulous, Damany Campbell combines his technical skill with his creative vision to provide purity of image and depth to each individual shoot. Born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in an artistic home, he’s lived life surrounded by innovation and art. His passion for people and the human condition create a space where art and expression meet to bring out the subject’s true nature. “I love photography for the way it captures the essence of the person in a single moment. It is a single moment followed by another that makes a lifetime. Photography is immortality preserving beauty, sentiment, emotion, creation, freedom and will for an eternity.
Early on
I am so fascinated by photography and it’s capability to bring your imagination to amazing places. Early on, I fell in love with the idea of filming my own productions, so I set out to learn everything I could about storytelling through photos.
Current
I have been teaching myself filmmaking for the past four and a half years and I’m still learning every day. I am building my business as a freelance filmmaker, as well as working on my own photo shoots.
